Our
mission statement:
Megan's
Crossing is a private nonprofit organization
located in North Central Texas that serves adults with cognitive challenges
in a residential-community environment, through assisted living support,
life long learning, as well as multidisciplinary training for professionals
and families.
Vision:
We at Megan's
Crossing strive to provide people who have cognitive
and physical impairments with a healthy and safe living environment,
with appropriate opportunities for employment, continuing education,
guidance and personal growth.
We aspire to bring greater awareness of cognitive and physical impairments
to our communities; to encourage our communities to understand the
values that those with cognitive and physical impairments can offer
society; and to provide quality support to those we serve.
Megan's Crossing values
having a high quality of life in a nurturing community for its residents
so that they may prosper, contribute to society and reach their maximum
potential. We value inclusiveness in all admissions of residents and
serve without discrimination.
